Sherman Albert Heinzel, 90, of Deltona, Fla., a Lincoln native, died Thursday, March 27, 1997, at Volusia Medical Center in Deltona. Mr. Heinzel owned and operated a heating and sheet metal company in Pekin for 30 years. He was a former Lincoln Scoutmaster and a former trustee for Faith Baptist Church of Pekin. His hobbies included gardening, hunting, fishing, camping and sports. He was horn July 14, 1906, in Lincoln, a son of Albert and Annabel Dora Harper Heinzel. He married Selma Blanch Anderson June 28, 1931, in Lincoln. She survives. Also surviving are a son, James Byron Heinzel of Wellington, Ala.; a daughter, Patricia Ann Herchenroder of Deltona eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
