Jacob Langenbahn, an aged citizen of this county, breathed his last in St. Clara's hospital, where he had been for the past year, at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning. Pneumonia was the direct cause of his death. The decedent was born in Germany, was 82 years, 4 months, and 11 days of age and had been a resident of Illinois for 58 years. He is survived by his widow and three children, the latter being Mrs. Timothy H. Hardin and John W. Langenbahn, both residing in West Lincoln and Charles Langenbahn, of Council Bluffs, Ia. The body was taken to the home of Mrs. Hardin to await the funeral arrangements which have not been completed.
