The funeral services for the late Peter Langenbahn, who passed away Thursday afternoon at St. Clara's hospital, will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock from St. Mary's church, conducted by Rev. Leo P. Henkel. Interment will take place in St. Mary's cemetery.
The death of Mr. Langenbahn followed a few weeks' illness with pneumonia. He seemed to be improving up to last Saturday, when he took a turn for the worse, and since that time his condition gradually grew worse. Mr. Langenbahn was born in Germany, July 21, 1867, and died at the age of 55 years, 6 months and 4 days. He was married to Miss Mary Bender, who survives with the following children: Fred, Virgil, Lorene Catherine, Albert and Howard P.
Mr. and Mrs. Langenbahn moved to Lincoln a number of years ago from the farm to permit their children to enter school. Mr. Langenbahn kept interested in his farm, west of the city, that is occupied by his son Fred, and assisted on the farm, but resided in town at 219 Fifth street.
Mr. Langenbahn is a cousin of Mrs. Timothy Hardin and John and Charles Langenbahn, who reside in this community.
