Harry S. Martin, Sr., of Mt. Pulaski, 76, a retired farmer and, for 25 years, chairman and office manager of the Logan County ASC office, died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday in Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be at Schahl Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home with the Rev. Ray O. Zumstein officiating. Interment will be in Steenbergen Cemetery, Mt. Pulaski.
The decedent was born in Lincoln Sept. 8, 1891, the son of John D. and Samantha Jane Bowers Martin. He married Mary Louise Scroggin in Mt. Pulaski Jan. 17, 1917, and she survives as do two sons, Harry, Jr., and John Martin of Mt. Pulaski; a sister, Mrs. George Stout of Laguna Beach, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Martin recently received a citation form Secretary of Agriculture Orville Freeman.
