Mrs. Oral Scroggin, 85, died at 7:10 p.m., Wednesday in the hospital here. Friends may call at Holland and Barry Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.

Last rites will be at 10 a.m., Saturday from the funeral home with Dean Sloniger officiating. Interment will be in Carlyle cemetery at Lake Fork.

The decedent was born at Lake Fork Aug. 15, 1880, the daughter of Henry and Emma Hayes Mileham. She was married to Benjamin Scroggin in 1897 and he died Oct. 2, 1963.

Survivors are a son, Wilbur of Lincoln; three daughters, Mrs. Ardena Lunner of Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Leila Goodpasture of Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. Reva Tooley of Springfield; a brother, Virgil Mileham of Decatur; a sister, Mrs. Russel Arthur of Sterling; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three sisters, and a brother.

Mrs. Scroggin was a member of the Christian church.
